Laura from Maggie’s has just dropped off the t-shirts and vests for us, so if you placed an order, please collect your top(s) from Dee’s office asap. There is a tick-list for you to sign as you collect, so please be sure to complete this too, in order that we know all tops have been collected by the right people and we can get any remaining ones out to their owners.
Thanks again to everyone for your amazing fund-raising efforts. The grand total across all the individual pages and the generic one is now over £4200! I’ve included the team link below so anyone who wants to donate and has yet to do so can either select the relevant individual page or choose the general ‘Pinnacle Fundraising’ one towards the end of the list. I’m sure we’ll easily smash the £5000 mark by Sunday!
Having liaised with Dave at Hathershaw, we’d like everyone taking part in the 10K to meet at 2pm in front of the Town Hall in Albert Square on Sunday (and half-marathoners too, if you’re ok to hang on until then?). Although it may be busy there, we should be ok to meet there and should easily spot each other in our orange tops.
Maggie’s Oldham will have a cheering squad out on the route (precise details tbc but somewhere around the 4-5K mark, which I’m told is near Old Trafford – I’m hoping to get past that area very quickly!). Maggie’s have then reserved a space for us to meet up after the event in The Refinery, Spinningfields, so anyone who can make it for a post-run/walk meet-up would be very welcome there and whilst there won’t be free drinks laid on (sadly!), we can buy food and drink there. Again, I’ll put out precise details later in the week but just thought I’d mention this now while emailing.
