I will be running a journal club each half term. It will be a chance to read pedagogical research with a view to supporting various aspects of teaching and learning. The first journal club will be Tuesday 25th September 2018 and the article we will be discussing is ‘A Marked Improvement? A review of the evidence on written marking’ from the Education Endowment Foundation. The article focuses on decisions-making about marking, marking strategies and impact on teacher workload.
