Estates Maintenance Officer (Joinery)                                  

Permanent, Full-time (36hrs 40 mins per week), Full year, To commence as soon as possible.

The College is seeking to appoint an Estates Maintenance Officer (Joinery) to join the estates team in providing a safe, secure and well-maintained working environment for College students and staff. This follows the promotion of the current post holder to position of Facilities Manager at Oldham Sixth Form College. The main duties of this role will be to provide routine building maintenance and development of the site in particular to provide joinery maintenance support and assisting in the provision of security arrangements within the College.

We are looking for a reliable and committed individual with some experience of premises maintenance.

The role requires working on a rota system covering shifts 5.30 am – 1.20pm, 7.00am – 2.50 pm, 12- 7.50pm

Salary: Points 25-27, of the Sixth Form College’s Support Staff pay spine, which is currently £20,458 – £21,814 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience) plus an on-call allowance.
